Rebecca Miles
Director and Dance Teacher
Rebecca has always had a passion for performing and has been dancing since the age of 6. From the age of 9 to 13 she attended The Valle Academy, a dance school where she took part in dancing, acting and singing classes. Rebecca also took part in many musicals including Aladdin, Slice of The West End and Cinderella.
While at secondary school Rebecca studied BTEC Dance and successfully attained an A* grade. She continued to study dance at Hitchin College, Centre of The Arts. During her studies, Rebecca gained a lot of experience in Street Dance, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Ballet and Musical Theatre styles.
She successfully completed her college course with an overall Merit grade. After college Rebecca decided she wanted to pursue a career in dance so she went on to study dance at The University of East London. She studied a course called ‘Dance: Urban Practice’, the course lasted for 3 years and Rebecca has now graduated with BA Honours. While studying at University, Rebecca gained a lot of experience teaching dance to children within a primary school setting.
Danielle Turay
Director and Dance Teacher
Danielle has been dancing for as long as she can remember and has always had a great interest in dance and performing. Danielle attended a musical theatre school, Top Hat, from the age of 10 and also took part in many dance classes from a very young age, entering numerous competitions and shows.
At secondary school Danielle studied Dance at GCSE receiving an A*, going on to study a National Certificate at A Level, receiving a Distinction. This laid the foundations for Danielle to successfully go on to university and study a three-year degree in ‘Dance: Urban Practice’ graduating with BA Honours.
While studying, Danielle also worked teaching dance in primary schools and within the community, which she really enjoyed and thrived upon. Danielle specialises in Urban, Jazz, Musical Theatre and cultural dance styles.
Chloe-Lee
Chloe-Lee has been performing since the age of 8 after joining Valle Academy of Performing Arts where she has performed in various dance shows, musicals and professional pantomimes (with Paul Holman Associates). The list is endless but to name a few .. We Will Rock You, Bugsy Malone, Les Miserables and Back to the Eighties. Chloe studied dance throughout school and then went onto college and qualifiedwith a Distinction BTEC National Diploma in Dance. Chloe has performed and danced with various companies including Mayhem Theatre Arts (The Addams Family) and Impress Theatre Arts. Chloe has choreographed and danced in Hairspray, Hot Mikado and Aladdin for East Herts Operatic Society and Cheshunt Dramatic Society. She has been Dance Captain and a Troupe Leader for many other performances!
